WHO WE ARE
The Gender Resource Center is a queer-feminist platform established in early 2020. The centre was established in Azerbaijan in response to the problem of lack of safe space and resources for people of different genders and sexual orientations.
Our initiative sees changing the dynamics of power as a key value to overthrow the existing culture of violence and patriarchy. Ensuring accessibility and transparency, sensitivity to the environment, zero tolerance for violence and discrimination are among the basic principles of our activities.
WHAT WE DO
Our activities
The Gender Resource Center has several focus areas of work. The Center provides sustainable services for the beneficiaries as well as creates resources for further usage and accessibility. Our activities include:
1. Carrying out social, psychological and legal consultations
2. Capacity building and empowerment
3. Conduct research and create resources for policy
4. Community building and mobilization through art
